Micro Film Line for Uniform Film Processing

Industrial machine processing a blue film or strip on a conveyor

Our micro-scale cast film line is a versatile, precise solution engineered to take flat or round extrudate strands directly from a micro extruder and calibrate them into uniform films. Acting as a compact film roller for R&D, it delivers tightly controlled film thickness for sectors ranging from pharmaceuticals and medical films to food packaging and advanced polymer prototyping. After calibration, the finished film is wound (via a winding mechanism) onto a spool, ready for downstream processing or storage.

A temperature-controlled, adjustable pair of rolls applies consistent heat and pressure, guaranteeing a uniform film gauge across the entire length—eliminating thickness variations that can plague manual bench-top methods or oversized production lines. An additional adjustable tension-roll pair maintains precise web tension, preventing slack and overstretching while safeguarding film integrity.

Downstream, the magnetic-coupled rewinder collects the film in an orderly roll. Both the draw-roller section and the spool feature independent, fine-tunable tensile-force controls so operators can dial in ideal winding tension for brittle, elastic, or highly tacky materials.

The entire micro film line is driven by an integrated frequency converter, giving seamless, digital speed control and recipe repeatability. For pilot plants or fully automated labs, the unit can be networked via an interface to higher-level PLC or MES systems, enabling centralized data logging and remote operation.

In short, this compact film roller / cast-film device offers laboratory users the same precision and consistency normally reserved for full-scale film lines, while consuming only a fraction of the footprint and material. Whether running micro-extrusion trials or slotting into a larger continuous process, it guarantees uniform, high-quality films every time.
